Teen Titans was one of several DC Comics based superhero segments that formed part of the 60-minute series, The Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure. Filmation produced a total of three, 7-minute stories featuring Teen Titans.
The Teen Titans were a junior version of the Justice League of America. Its members were likewise all based on older, established characters. Wonder Girl could fly and had super-strength, and often used a rope to battle her enemies the same as her counterpart Wonder Woman; Speedy (based on Green Arrow) fired an array of specialized arrows that came in handy for nearly any situation; Aqualad (based on Aquaman) was master of the water element, and Kid Flash (based on the Flash) could move at blinding speed. The four young heroes operated out of Titan’s Lair, a secret underground headquarters located in the base of a dormant volcano.
Although their initial foray into the animated landscape was short lived, the teens reemerged in 2003 with their own half-hour series, Teen Titans, and again in 2013 with Teen Titans Go!

I am now 53 years old with a son, and I talk with him often about cartoons such as these. As a matter of fact I take the bread ties and make my own superheroes such as these. I still have my comic books based on these characters and I have problems with DC changing like they did. I wish they would bring back the oldies but goodies.
